Who we are

The Tanzania Police Force Corporation is one of the Public Organizations operating under the Corporation Sole Establishment Act, Chapter 119 of 1974. The Corporation was established on March 29, 2013, through the order of the President of NA. 66 to improve the infrastructure of the Tanzania Police Force. This is after the Government approved the Five-Year Police Force Reform Program, intending to build MODERNIZATION, SOCIAL INVOLVEMENT, and PROFESSIONALISM. The organization officially started its operations on September 24, 2013, after the appointment of the first Board of Directors.

The program has a VISION of “Being a public institution determined to improve the lives of the entire Police and the Community”. Through this vision, the Organization focuses on supporting the Police Force by improving infrastructure and carrying out investment activities that will enable the Force to fulfill its constitutional duties effectively and contribute to community development and welfare.

In addition, the Organization embraces Innovation, Integrity, Respect, Good Customer Service, and Competence as the main basis of its work.

Responsibilities

Through the said order, the Organization has been given the following responsibilities;

Trading in security services, consulting in matters of security for institutions, and personal security.
Advising in matters of engineering, design, and creativity.
To provide training and service of target ranges to institutions and private owners of firearms for safe use and storage
Coordinating activities that aim to improve the infrastructure and modernization of the Tanzania Police force.
Managing the services of the entertainment area for the Police Force and the community in general.
Running any commercial activity that aims to fulfill the goals of the organization.
